Certain members of IndoAgri has an operational history which dates back to the early 1970s (in the case of its cooking oil and fats division) and the early 1980s (in the case of its plantation division). In 1997, PT ISM acquired equity interests in several companies engaged in palm oil related businesses. Since 1997, IndoAgri has expanded its business operations to become one of Indonesia’s major vertically-integrated manufacturers of edible oils and fats with two key business divisions, namely the plantation division and edible oils & fats division. Certain key milestones of IndoAgri are as follows:

  • Acquired additional stake in RHI to 50.9%
  • Achieved RSPO- and ISPO-certified CPO of 377,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes, respectively
2014
  • Formed a 40% : 60% JV, engaging in road construction and the leasing of heavy equipment
  • Expanded sugar business via the acquisition of PT Madusari Lampung Indah (PT MLI)
  • Achieved RSPOcertified CPO of 332,000 tonnes
2013
  • Acquired a 79.7% interest in PT Mentari Pertiwi Makmur (PT MPM)
  • Acquired a 50% stake in Companhia Mineira de Aš˙car e ┴lcool Participaš§es (CMAA), a sugar, ethanol and co-generation company in Brazil
  • Formed a 30% : 70% JV, FP Natural Resources Limited (FPNRL) to invest 34% in Roxas Holdings Inc. (RHI), an integrated sugar business in the Philippines
  • Received first Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO)-certified CPO of 45,000 tonnes
2012
  • Acquired 26.4% stake in Heliae, a development stage algae technology solutions company
  • Achieved RSPOcertified CPO of 248,000 tonnes
2011
  • Listed PT SIMP on the IDX
  • Achieved RSPOcertified CPO of 195,000 tonnes
2010
  • Divested 8% stake in Lonsum, of which 3.1% was sold PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (PT SIMP)
2009
  • Acquired plantation land in South Sumatra
  • Achieved RSPOcertified Crude Palm Oil (CPO) of 170,000 tonnes
2008
  • Diversified into sugar business via 60% stake in PT Laju Perdana Indah (PT LPI)
  • Acquired plantation land in South Sumatra and Central Kalimantan
2007
  • Completed a reverse takeover and listed on the SGX-ST
  • Acquired plantation land in South Sumatra and Kalimantan
  • Expanded its plantation business via the acquisition of a 58.8% stake in PT PP Lonsum Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum), a listed plantation company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)
  • Enrolled as a Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) member
